My dad has been the inspiration behind me joining Dentistry. Although he never forced me into it, seeing him work diligently at his Surgery, created an “inner drive” to join the same profession. He is almost like a ‘magician’ when he is attending to his patients.
I feel very proud, when many of my colleagues, from different parts of India talk good about my dad. His selfless contribution to dentistry in Goa, has been simply too much.
When some of my Professors at College tell me, that I’m good at my work, I thank God for the “good dentistry genes”, I’ve inherited from my dad. I know it is not going to be easy to step into his shoes. But who knows, I may turn out to be better than my Dr Perfectionist dad. Ha, ha!
